I always loved writing. It started with heartfelt notes to people in cards and crafting poems for birthdays and anniversaries. In my career in sales for the past 20 years, I have always had to craft emails, to convey why someone should buy what I was selling. Either home and garden decor or insurance. I was always told how well I wrote emails and that I had a gift as a wordsmith.

I decided it was time to maybe get into writing to eventually publish something. To be able to say that I am a published author and a true 'writer', would be a dream come true!

With this gift of writing, I would also be tapping into my other passion which is encouraging others. I want to convey to others that their lives are important. That they are special and unique and worth so much more than they sometimes understand. In my life experiences, I have discovered that all people, no matter their race, creed, upbringing or social status, want to feel valued. To someone. Anyone. I want them to grasp that their life makes a difference. I try to impart to others through my writings, videos and in conversation that they do have value and that God loves them more than they will ever know.

In my talking with God, He keeps telling me that my goal needs to be "an audience of one". Not to be consumed with the amount of people who might listen to a video and comment or read my words but that even touching ONE person, and lifting them up or encouraging them, makes a difference. So, here I go - hoping for "my audience of one"  and that I might be a blessing to just one person in this great big, crazy world.
